THE WEATHER OUTSIDE IS FRIGHTFUL...
Winter has arrived yet again in the Upper East Side. Lights twinkle in the night sky, Christmas trees can be seen through the windows of every home, and couples are kissing beneath the mistletoe-including S and her newest boyfriend, A, who were seen heading onto a plan to South America together.
Not everyone is snuggling up to someone special this year. D, it seems, is still pining for an old girlfriend's heart-who other than S? Personally I don't think he stands a chance, since S's latest pick is hotter than that new Fendi handbag I saw in the window at Barney's, but thats just me.
Poor little J is in a similar predicamante to her brother, first losing her designs thanks to her ex-partner A and later watching as she lost her "relationship" with N . Which leads me to report that N and V have publicly declared their love for each other (not by choice, may I say), even after N finally realized V stole his love letter for J. If you ever give up on them both, N, I'll always be here for you.
Of course, though, nothing can beat out the gossip that has been posted on every newspaper headline in New York. Bart Bass, beloved C's father, was killed in a car crash. Poor C. I'm sure I wasn't the only one to see his outburst at Lonely Boy at his own father's funeral, after having to be escorted by the lovely B and N since he was so drunk he could hardly stand.
B and C. Will they ever finally work out their problems and realize they're both madly in love with each other? Hardly. B was seen confessing her love to C. She, in return, got a mere goodbye note as C vanished off somewhere, probably to his cabin in Aspen. I know thats where I'm heading as soon as winter break starts-maybe I'll see you there, C.
After years of wishful thinking of how they let each other go, R and L seemed to have decided to give their love another shot. Or had decided, before R found out that L was pregnant. How they choose to proceed will be on the back of my mind. As soon as I find something out, you know I'll tell.
The winter holidays are nearly here and every kid on the Upper East Side is packing up last season's clothes for "charity"-more like to make room for all those adorable things they saw in Bergdorfs and Barneys thats are now on their Christmas wishlists. Merry Christmas, Upper East Siders.
