Felix drank her morning cup of tea and sat down on the couch in the lounge. Putting her feet up on the oak coffee table she watched a short program on the telly. Some show or other about a teenage witch that the 'normals' came up with. All of it was total rubbish but honestly that didn't matter. Cartoons were cartoons.
Fixing her white skirt she took another sip of tea. Her colorful white and pink top making her stick out of the white and cream room. Nesrta laid out under the table lounging and letting her tail twitch back and forth. The music teacher insisted on running in and out of the room trying to find something that he seemed to have missed of lost but then again he was a disorganized man and didn't realize that what he was looking for was in his hand.
She waited for any other professors to join her in the long for a morning conversation before they all had to go off and deal with the children. Sure she loved her kids but it was nice to talk to another grown adult. Ever since her and Mr. Felix broke up she had gotten very little in the socializing with another adult. Trying to fix her messy bun she tilted her head sideways and said in a bored tone, "Nestra...where the bloody hell is everybody today? How am I suppose to keep sane without any company."
"Well Abby you could always start up a conversation with me."
Oh no, that would be a boring conversation indeed. What do you say to someone who dose not like art or any form of odd or original behavior? Nesrta was a great...guardian but she had the most dulled down personality. Trying to avoid a conversation with her she scratched her ear and replied, "Hmm...sorry what was that love? I must have had water in my ear from the shower this morning."

Zedd walked intothe teachers lounge and looked about there was very few teachers in here at this time. WHich was unsual usually a few more were in here than this. It didn't matter to him but he stilled wondered where they were. Zedd went to his space of the room and grabbed some of his herbs and water and mixed them together magically and the heated it with magic. It was a simpel tea but it helped him at his age.
Zedd sat down by the history teacher and sipped some of it. He looked at her she was scratching the ear of her guardian. He smiled wondering where his was probably out hunting in the woods. Zedd said," Might want to try under the ears some of them like that. Mine does anyway".

Nestra was a snappy thing and turned her head to the professor, "No, never would I want her to pet me. Dearest Abby can't even take care of herself without me. I should be petting her. Lord knows she needed it. Been a wreck since the husband left her you know."
Abby clasped her hands over Nestra's snout so she could not say another word. "Oh god lord Ness, tell the whole world. Gods know I can't trust you with anything, leave it enough alone I understand you are angry."
Her guardian pulled away from her grasp and continued, "Yes angry because you are to stubborn and refuse to say you are sorry, and this is not about me this time Abby, I see how your still look at him, say you are so..."
She clasped her hands over her snout again and giggled at Zedd, "Sometimes she say's the darnest things." Oh yes they were most certainly not a dysfunctional bunch. Good thing she never did have kids, she could not imagine putting them thought the cruel of having Nestra around barking orders and insulting them. Lord know she would have done it too. If they were Abby's kids she would say they were no better then their mother...which might have been true.

Zedd smiled at the panther. It seemed to blurt out what it thought. He liked the creature already. Zedd smiled and said," I can understand. I was the same way when my wife died why if it wasn't for Phantom and my daughter I might have ended up in a loony bin". Zedd cackled like he was insane though he wasn't. Zedd listened to the lady and said," Dear one thats the way of guardians. If they don't see you trying to fix your own problems they will try to help in a way that usually you don't like but it gets the desired effect".
Zedd then smiled at what the panther next said and then smiled at the girl and cleaned out his ear and said," I can't seem to remember what it was she said. Old age you know. Hearing is not as good as it once was". Just then a big wolf entered the room through the all and said telepathically so everyone could hear," Bah it be suprising you hear anythign at all old man." Zedd smiled and laughed and said," He is right".

Felix smiled at the wolfs comment, "You sound like Nestra...since when did guardian's start ganging up on their charge?"
"Since you humans got stubborn and stupid." Nestra snapped back. Her yellow eyes like amber fire. She gave a smug smile to show she was only playing around, but at the same she believed what she said.
Very gently Abby kicked the panther and forced the massive beast to stand up and growl. Shaking her head a little Nestra jumped up onto the couch that the two teachers were occupying and decided to take up as much room as possible. Her massive body stretched out over the two professors and a fanged smile crossed her face, "Do not argue with creatures who can take up more space then you can."
All Abby could do now was wiggle and squirm beneith the monsterous cat in an attempt to get free but it was useless when the beast weighed more then she did. "Nestra why I ever put up with you, now look at us arguing like children. Lets try to set a better example of ourselves."
"You first" Giggled Nestra in response.

Phantom smiled at the owman when she asked when they stared ganing up on their charges. Phantom said," Oh Zedd doesn't mind, soon you won't either. It took me and Zedd along time to fully understand each other." Zedd smiled at the wolf. The wolf had saved his life once or twice and Zedd had returned the favor.
He trusted Phantom better than anyone else. The giant cat jumped up on the couch and Zedd said," Bags, get off me you bundle of fur and fangs, before I decide to make you into a carpet". Zedd would not do that he did not hrut gaurdians unless they were tryign to hurt him. The woman spoke and Zedd only chuckled.
Zedd then said," Because she will save your live, more than once I bet. Now if you please Nestra get off me. Your sheddiing on my robes".

Lilith lay outside the door the the teachers lounge, curled up into a small ball of fur, waiting. She was currently invisible and was sure no one had noticed her as they entered, though the music teacher had come close to kicking her a few times and she was pretty sure the wolf had smelled her but had no idea where it was coming from, though she could be mistaken. Still she waited to Jason to finish getting ready, which was taking him a lot longer then usual this morning then usual.
It wasn't surprising though, that he was taking so long that is. They had arrived at the school last night around 11 p.m. which was well after curfew, or that was the truth when they were students. The meeting with the head master and mistress after arriving had gone very well as far as Lilith was concerned, and they had gotten to sleep after unpacking in his office which would server as a temporary quarters for him until he could buy a house nearby the school.
But none of that was the cause of Jason's lateness. It was the fact that they were back at school. His life as a student had no been a happy one, at least for the first few years. It got better after a while, but then it started going down hill again after Delila. It took him a while but Jason was finally able to get over her death and return to normal life. But this school was still full of reminders of how hard it was for him growing up.
Lilith opened her eyes and lifted her head as she heard Jason's footsteps down the hall heading in her direction. She moved and sat up stretching, as she did this her body became visible again starting from her nose and ending at the tip of her tail. Sitting down she waited patiently as Jason came around the corner adjusting his long dark red and black jacket which stopped about mid calf and settling down as he stopped moving.
"Took you long enough." Lilith said as Jason arrived. "What took you so long. You may have your first class to day and you really can't be late."
Jason smirked at Lilith "Some things can't be rushed." He said simply. "And if I'm running late then hopefully you can find it in your heart to help me make it in time."
"Well maybe I won't, then you will have to learn to do things yourself." Lilith muttered.
"I hope not." Jason said as he stepped up to the door. "I would be utterly lost without you Lilith." Jason opened the door and stood to the side. "Ladies first." He said, adding in a slight bow of his head.
Lilith just smirked and gave him an aggravated look before entering the lounge. Jason followed shortly after her and allowed the door to shut behind him.

"Oh I have saved her life...plenty of times, more then I can count." She curled up more onto Abby's lap as she tried to get free. Finally Abby pushed the massive cat off her lap and fixed her wrinkled skirt. With a displeased look on her face. "Oh Abby don't be so self continues all of a sudden. Just because you are single again doesn’t mean you have the right to gussy up all the time. How do you think I feel when you get more attention then me. You are a married...were a married...half are married woman...woman."
Abby kicked up her foot as another teacher entered the lounge and fixed her shirt. "Opps sorry Nessy, must have been a reflex."
"Oh yes, must have been the bitch relax, haven’t seen that one in many years. Must have been dormant." Nesra sassed her back sticking her claws into the carpet and stretching out.
Abby smiled at Jason and took a sip of coffee, "Gutten Morgan Jason...or good morning... ca va?"
"German and French Abby, you show off...keep your languages to yourself dear...no one cares for them."

Jason seemed to perk up as he looked at the woman who addressed him. She knew his name, guess news of his arrival had already spread to the teachers. Though he did not know her name.
"Gutten Morgan Jason...or good morning... ca va?" the woman said.
The 2 languages caused jason to pause for a moment. Not only did he not know the name of the person who addressed, but did he also get his languages wrong? It took a second or to for Jason to readjust for this new variable, but he was able to take it in stride.
"Guten Morgen eine richtige kleine Eva" Jason said as he walked over to the coffee machine. A mug already floating out from the table to meet him half way. "Ça va comme ci, comme ça. Mais, Il fait beau, n'est-ce pas? Et vous?"
Jason poured himself a cup of coffee and started over towards the only other 2 teachers in the room. He did not know why he was acting in such a way. He was almost never this vocal when it isn't necessary. But these were first impressions he guessed, you always needed a good one of those.

Zedd smiled at the panthear when it got off. Zedd burshed the fur off his robes and listened to it speak. Zedd chuckled. Obviously this guardian gave its friend alot of trouble. It was all in fun though Zedd could see that. His own guardian just seemed disinterested keeping his eyes flowing around the room for anything more interesting.
Felix kicked at the cat and Zedd laughed. Zedd said," Now now play nice, were all adults here. Its not like this is not bearable". Zedd noticed the other teacher finally and Zedd frowned he did not recognize him so he either was new or somethign like that. He also spoke German a language Zedd was unfamiliar with. Zedd said," You'll have to forgive me if I don't reply sir. I only understand english. Plus I am a bit old so my hearing is not what it used to be so could you do an old man a favor".

Abby smiled at the new teachers response and then listened to Zedd. With a smile she replied "Oh only alright...well your day should be wonderful...although I hear you are the new teacher so I can understand why. As for me I am doing just fine now, thank you for asking. Oh and by the way I am Abigail Felix...but please Abby is just fine."
Nestra rolled her eyes, "Great now there are two French, German, Brits in this room. I think I am going to regurgitate my food. Just don't get started on the Ich muss die Katze essen crap again...you know I don't find that funny at all Abby."
Abby rolled her eyes and laughed, "Hahaha, that was an old joke from back in my school days. German class, I was suppose to say I must feed that cat but I got startled and it came out wrong...none the less Nestra here did not find it as funny as the rest of the class." She couldn't put her finger on it but she liked this teacher already. He seemed like someone she could get along with very easily...then again she got along with everyone.
