It was barely one week into the school year, and already students where flooding the infirmary. Mostly, it was the middle-aged students who where old enough to know a bit about magic, but immature enough to carelessly show off to their classmates. This usually had bad results.
Brian was in the infirmary, but he wasn't hurt, or even sick. He was helping out the medics there, sense he had learned quite a bit about healing in the past few years. And with his ability to transfer pain, there was no need for them to use any painkilling potions or spells, making the job a little easier on everyone. Currenlty Brian was helping a third-year student with a broken nose. The boy was sitting on a bed, blood and tears streaming down his face. The boy's rat gueadian was trying its best to console him.
"Now just hold still, even after the pain is gone we'll need to let it heal, you will have to take it easy for a while. It's a small enough break that it should just heal itself up."
Brian put two fingers on the boy's cheek, and sucked the pain out of him. Brian never felt any of the pain that he took from others, but he could also transfer it to others. It was a usefull gift, but also frightening. If he was evil, he would be able to make others feel immense amounts of pain. Luckily for everyone else, he wasn't that kind of person.
Thistle was bored with all the happenings here, and she was swooping around by the ceiling with her wings out. The Marten had a very short attention span with most of the things Brian was interested in.
Brian sighed and moved on to the next injured student, a girl with boild all over her face and arms. Apparently it was the result of a potion gone wrong. Brian wished that someone would come talk to him that wasn't bleeding or crying. He wanted a normal conversation for once.

Post by Tsura Monroe on Aug 26, 2009 13:32:22 GMT -5
Tsura was in the small office of the infirmary. It was the nurse who brought her here and asked to help a few of the sick and injured. Tsura never liked this place, especially around any kid who was bleeding to death. Was it a selfish thought? She hates the sight of other people’s blood – her homophobia. She does not mind the sight of her own blood, but seeing other people suffering in pain… No, she could not withstand the sight of the red splatter. Part of it had to do with her past...
Tsura wore sneakers with a simple outfit of a black loose top and jeans. Most of her clothes were given to her from the school or donations, so she never had much of a variety or spectacular clothing. Sometimes, she made money through her crystal designs and machinery. Course, it’s not enough to make a living, at least not when she’s busy with school. Kotori’s claws were comfortably clutched on Tsura’s right shoulder, while her crystal sphere that carried her school materials fluttered on her left. The nurse walked in with a grin on her face, “Well? We have a student in the infirmary waiting for some of your blood Tsura… are you ready? There is a boy who no matter what potion or healing skills we give him – nothing has worked with his fever-illness. We have no clue what it is exactly at this very moment.”
Tsura nodded even though her mind was complaining the thought of entering that room. However, if it was a boy who was sick, it wasn’t like he had blood exploding over his body – at least she hoped not. As they walked through the infirmary, Tsura did not look at anyone’s faces; she felt faintish knowing few with a smelly stench of blood. She did however, noticed a boy helping the sick in the infirmary, he seemed familiar - maybe she saw him near Ravenheart dorms. Finally, reaching the corner room with a curtain covering the diseased child, the nurse slowly opened it, allowing Tsura inside the small bedroom. To Tsura’s surprise, it was a nightmare to see this boy.
Scabs and blood streaked all over his body. The boy was sweating in pain while looking extremely feverish. Tsura never told the nurse about her phobia, let alone the nurse never mentioned how badly ill he was! “Oh my…,” said the nurse, “He did not have those wounds before… it must be getting worse.” Tsura stood there for a few moments, her heart was pounding at the sight of the blood… her phobia was kicking in. No, she could not let it get to her; this boy could die at this rate. Slowly walking closer, she created a crystal knife, and cut her left wrist deep enough for blood to drip out without having a fast heal on herself – she felt pain, but she knew it’ll go away within a few minutes.
Blood on her wrist dripped down on the boy’s body, and she made sure he had some for him to thirst. She let it drip until her wound closed in. Standing up, Tsura looked at the nurse with a faint voice, “I hope… it helps.”
“It already has!” The nurse clasped her mouth; Tsura glanced at the boy for a moment. His wounds had begun to slowly close in. Quickly, she flashed her eyes away; she could not tolerate seeing his blood. At least now he's healing…
Tsura began to leave the small curtained area, but as she stepped out the nurse asked, “Are you ok? You seem a little faint…? Did you give too much blood…?”
Without facing her, she replied with a small shake, “I’m…fine. Don’t worry.”
As Tsura kept walking, she hoped her fear would brush off. She wasn’t looking where she was going and smacked head first into that Ravenheart boy who was helping out in the infirmary. Kotori immediately flew in the air, while Tsura landed on her crystal sphere. It cracked and burst open. Soon, all her parchment, books, quills, inks, and homework piled the area.

The very moment that Tsura happened to crash into Brian, He was certainly not expecting it. And, having notbeen able to brace himself, he fell over and landed on the floor with a thud.
Brian looked up to see who had knocked him over, and he saw that it was his fellow Ravenheart, Tsura Monroe. He had always been envoius of her natural ability to heal. Even though he knew it took a lo out of her, he wished that he could heal others without having to use a spell.
Thistle heard the crash, and that got her attention. Sure, healing people was fine and all, but she liked it when something exciting happened. Her furry marten body landed lightly on the floor, and her wings shrunk into her body untill you couldn't see them at all. She started to inspect the damage of scattered objects.
Brian was slightly flistered by the whole event. "Oh, sorry. I didn't know you where there. Are you ok? Are you hurt?"
Just after he asked the question he knew it was a stupid one. If she was hurt, well, they where right here in the Infirmary. He blushed slightly and started picking up some of the scattered objects.

Melody walked down the halls to the infirmary with Piper a few steps behind her. She knew that he did not like the place and with all the times she had ended up in there perhaps that was the reason.
"We are just going to deliver this and then we are out of there."
Melody looked down on the lynx and lifted the small paper bag she held in her hand, she knew all to well that he had a tendency to forget everything calling sleeping and food when he helped others and if he could run after her telling her what to do and not to do she had the right to make sure he stayed on his feet.
She opened the door and the sight made her grin, it was a long time since she had seen him blush around a girl and she felt a push when Piper walked past her and up to Thistle as to find out what had just happened.
"I just came to deliver this. Do I disturb or do you need a hand?"
She looked down on the girl, had she seen her before somewhere? The protective part of her kicked in before she smiled a little and reached out a hand for the girl to take.
