What is Happening in Our World?
Never in the history of our world has their been a case like this. Since the 1800's when guardian's were finally discovered we have lived our whole life with our spiritual companion's. It seems like an eternity since the magical community has functioned without them. However now something so horrifying has accorded that it can not be ignored.
Three days ago a young boy was hospitalized for being attacked by his guardian. At fist examination it seemed his guardian was rabid as if it were a real animal. It foamed at the mouth and seamed to have lost its 'soul' acting more primal then even a normal animal would. It seemed to have no memory, no self awareness, and no intelligence. A day after the boy was admitted his guardian did something so horrifying that some people can hardly stomach saying let alone writing this.
In front of a whole nursing staff as the spirit was hooked to some iv’s the wolf guardian just seemed to swell up and then radiate a bright light. Within moments it burst into ash and was no more. The boy since then has been in poor condition and seems to have lost consciousness and most his normal functions. No one can explain this mystery or why it is happening. Since then two more cases have shown up and doctors and nurses are trying desperately to figure out a way to stop this process. Some are saying that this is the cause of the Witch Hunters Society and that they have somehow found a way to permanently 'kill' a guardian without killing the person who they belong to. If this is true that we can't be safe nor can our dearest friends.
