survival instincts is an eclectic new role-playing game. in a medieval setting, science fiction and a hint of magic have bonded in the realm of bytherios. in the deep wilderness, explorers seeking fame and fortune from their lieges stumbled upon a previously undiscovered race of anthropomorphic creatures. the bestial creatures were terrifying, but soon the greedy humans realized their potential profit. taking a few of the strange creatures captive, they stunned the civilized world. some religious fanatics claimed that the anthros were crimes against god, and started an uprising that led to the hunting and slaughtering of the poor creatures. a war now wages within the realm, between the bytherians and the anthro outcasts. a rare few on both sides have ignored the war completely and have even tried to live as the other race, but such attempts usually fail. as a player of SI, your characters will have to choose where they personally stand -- if they're lucky enough to have the choice.
