"And so that is how George slayed the dragon." The grandmother finished the story but the child was long asleep. She smiled at the little blonde youth, got up and left the room switching the light off as she went.
Yes. That is the tale we all know or we were all taught. Mythological beasts are just stories, horrible monsters who were all slain by mighty men to save our race, mankind. What we were never taught though was that those creatures really did exist. Did, but still do.
These creatures have evolved, morphed during the years and learnt to live among us. They have discovered and mastered the ability to shape shift into human form. So for centuries these creatures, "Mythos" as they call themselves, have been next to you without you ever knowing it. So they lay secret as always unknown to the world, or are they?
A secret clan of scientists have discovered their unrevealed life and plan to capture them, clone them and control them to rule. How did they discover this you say. Well one of them were clumsy on the way and left a trail. The scientists found this trail and they caught him. They tortured him, and managed to capture the ability of shape shifting, but only to a basic form. They are able to morph into animals.
The mythos are in grave danger and must keep as hidden as ever, but there are those who are still angered about past happenings and want to cause chaos and disturb the humans, unaffected by the fact they're easier to catch in their animal form.
What side will you be on? The mythos or the scientists?
