Diva At Arcane
Opera singer extraordinaire has been called to Arcane to replace the beloved Mrs. Bluff, Arcane's choir teacher. Other magical schools gossip about Arcane's fame of winning the annual choir competition twenty-five years running and wonder if Miss. White (proclaimed Diva Witch of the Century) can keep this long running success or if being a first time teacher will make Arcane loss the win for this year.
Ophelia White has been a student of Arcane in the past and has in the years at hand become one of the most renowned opera singers in the magical community putting her at the top of the charts. She has even won the hearts 0f the non-magical folk singing at concerts across the world. On Tuesday of last week the news had been spread that a replacement had been found for Arcane's Mrs. Bluff and rumors had gone about saying Ophelia was first choice hands down, but the surprise came when the rumors came true. Hold onto your theater Mrs. Felix, a new star is stepping into Arcane and she has the voice of a goddess to back her up.
An exclusive interview had been done in the private home of Miss. White is Italy on Friday brought to you by our Journalist Giovanni Fetith.
Giovanni: So I hear you are quite nervous going to teach at Arcane, do you think you have enough experience to be a teacher there?
Ophelia: Well, yes actually I am very...well I am quite jittery to be a teacher there. I have been for five years now doing private lessons, but the whole classroom environment and having a whole lot of students will be new to me. I feel that as I teach them they will teach me better ways to help them and I find this to be a challenge which I normally take on with confidence and use everything I have to succeed.
Giovanni: So now that you are teaching at Arcane are you going to give up your opera carrier?
Ophelia: Oh good heavens no, I am going to do most of my concerts on the off year of the schools and do my tours during the summer when I am not teaching. That and on seasons when I usually did my Holiday tours I may do some shorter trips and that sort of thing, but I would prefer to be at the school for the most part.
Giovanni: So I hear your daughter Shiloh goes to Arcane, do you two have any problem now that you will be a teacher at her school?
Ophelia: Well Shiloh and I have always been very close, I have always put her before everything else in my life and so she was actually not at all bothered by this. However she had told me she was going to have to be more careful what she did in school now.
Giovanni: So people have been talking about you and the annual choir competition. Do you think you can keep Arcane's win going?
Ophelia: Well I think the students at Arcane are the real reason they win every year, in fact when I went to Arcane I had been there for some of the wins in that concert and I must say the choir at Arcane is so beautiful, they are really all talented children and I think they can do whatever they put their hearts to. I mean besides me I know of at least twelve other students from Arcane who have made it in the musical world. One of them was actually my friend, Alandra Filorn who actually has become very popular with the younger witch community. So I think it is basically the talent of the students who bring the win home, not so much the teachers, but they help.
Giovanni: So what was your first reaction when you got the call to work at Arcane?
Ophelia: Well actually at first I didn’t really have it sink in until about a week later when I was reading the paper and it had been mentioned there then it all hit me and I felt so...kind of excited and yet frightened because I mean all the teachers of Arcane are just...they are all these wonderful people who have this great gift of teaching students and I mean I envy them at times. I do hope I can learn some things from them and hope to walk away with a good experience from Arcane.
Giovanni: Well Miss White thank you for your time and the lovely interview.
Ophelia: Your quite welcome sir.
